Within seconds our party has been reduced to cinders and we’re greeted by the guardian spirit of Teleria. She can only resurrect one of these brave souls and so we have to make a decision. In our play through we chose the Templar, a melee based character that offers a well-rounded mix of strong melee attacks and a sturdy defense. Other options would have been for example an orc barbarian or a nimble high elf archer – all of which looked pretty damn impressive for a free to play titles. Outstanding visuals and sound Outstanding is most likely the correct word to describe the overall visual appearance of Raid: Shadow Legends. The graphics are simply marvelous, especially for a free to play game that is also playable on your phone. The attacks, the animations and even the professional voice over really left us surprised. Raid: Shadow Legends is a game that definitely had some production value and it shows every second. No matter if you’re in combat, in your base overview or in one of the many dialogues throughout your campaign to reconquer Telaria, Raid: Shadow Legends is a real piece of eye candy. Form a new band of heroes Since your friends have just been roasted by that dragon, you are beginning your adventure on your own. Soon after though you will meet your first new allies that usually can be acquired in the form of rare crystals. These crystals basically hold a sort of essence within them that can be unlocked by the spirit guardian of Telaria. Depending on the rarity of the crystal you will be able to recruit powerful allies into your service. Each of these allies comes with a unique set of skills that can not only be developed but also needs to be adjusted in accordance with the type of foe you are fighting. In this regard Raid: Shadow Legends provides a compelling argument for different hero setups that you can run in rotations or depending on your task at hand. Shooter – The developers that brought you the free to play hit War Thunder just opened the gates to another title that many have hoped for. With the upcoming closed beta test of Enlisted, the scales of war are about to shift once again. Enlisted is the not only long awaited but also free to play infantry addition to the War Thunder universe and we managed to get our hands on it. Here is our war report. As one of many soldiers, either fighting for the axis or allies, its your job to dominate the battlefield and take over critical objectives in order to win the round. Fight as a normal recruit, a tank commander or even a pilot and make sure that your team takes the victory. Cooperate with others, outsmart and outplay your rivals and tip the scales of war in your favor. Large scale warfare Its not surprising that a company like Gaijin, which already made one of the most successful tank simulators, tried to bring the same level of realism to Enlisted. Playing this game for a few hours has made it very clear that they succeeded. It doesn’t even matter if you’re fighting on the shores of the Normandy or on the ravaged countryside of the Russian motherland, the level design is marvelous and allows for non-stop action between the two rival factions. In addition to that it should be noted that more than a hundred players at a time can be on the same warzone. Authentic weaponry and uniforms Another detail that Enlisted really picked up on was the implementation of authentic weaponry and uniforms. Wield the iconic Mosin Nagant on the side of the Russian forces or embrace your trust Karabiner 98 and go for those juicy one-taps on other players. Unlike in some other shooters, a hit to the center of the body is usually a death sentence in Enlisted. Its pretty easy to kill and be killed – something that can easily be forgotten in the way other games do portrait wars. The consequence is that Enlisted usually favors a methodical playstyle that rewards squads that strategize, flank and trying to take key objectives on the map. In that regard its pretty safe to say that Enlisted is directed more towards a mature audience that is looking for an authentic world war two shooter and less for an arcadelike run and gun. Twelve special classes – one for each job Potentially one of the most interesting features of Enlisted is its class system. As of now you get to choose between twelve different classes, each of those having its own unique perks. While its pretty obvious what a Sniper might do on the battlefield, there are others like the Radio Operator or the Engineer, which should also be part of any team. The aforementioned Radio Operator is needed to call in heavy artillery strikes to level enemy fortifications and allow for your infantry or tanks to push. The engineer on the other hand does actually build most of the fortifications. Sand bags, MG nests and AT guns are only some of the things an engineer can bring to the battlefield. Twelve special classes: Choose between twelve different specialist classes and bring a unite set of skills onto the battleground. The maps in Enlisted are not only huge but also beautifully rich and really carry the theme of the historical battle with them. Destroyed bunkers and a scarred landscape from nonstop bombardment are just the tip of the iceberg of the details that the developers put in their maps. This is further amplified by the authentic weaponry that ranges from guns, to uniforms and of course also to the depiction and dread that armored vehicles will unleash on the battlefields of Enlisted. One thing became pretty clear to us: With Enlisted you’re getting a world war two shooter that easily tops the quality of some of the most recent AAA titles – for free. In that regard its pretty much a no-brainer and there is no good reason why you shouldn’t give this game a try. Full Review

Strong browser graphics: We usually don’t expect much in matters of graphics from browser games, but Combat Siege hit us with surprising visuals. The landscape around your base presents itself in elaborate 2-D graphics, the animated buildings and units are particularly cohesive, and the sound is awesome. After the first few minutes in the war zone you’re going to start ducking at the explosions. Really good gaming experience: Combat Siege is simply easy to play and is rarely frustrating. The mission system will basically take beginners by the hand, always telling them what to do next. The user interface is really easy to understand. All buttons and functions are easy to see, and you don’t have to really ever search for anything. But beware: other players benefit from this easy manipulation of the game as well, and therefore they won’t be easy to beat. Battle Royale – Who doesn’t love a good old Battle Royale, huh? Well, we sure do and even though these games seem to pop up everywhere now, we have to say that we haven’t seen a game like CRSED:F.O.A.D yet. This free to play title really is something else and here is why. Official CRSED:F.O.A.D TrailerPLAY ONLINE FREE Game Concept CRSED:F.O.A.D is a classic Battle Royal title. As such you spawn in with a bunch of other people in a huge arena like environment, which will continuously become smaller and smaller, forcing players to move up and eventually engage in combat with others. The winner is the last remaining survivor. Collecting weapons, equipment and armor is the key to success and only those that manage to position themselves correctly, know which fights they can take and which they better avoid, have a realistic chance at becoming the sole survivor in CRSED:F.O.A.D. Welcome to Hell’s Kitchen: So, maybe a bit of a word of warning before we start. Originally, CRSED:F.O.A.D started as a joke. We’re not kidding. This game started out as an April’s fool’s joke for the game Enlisted but became so successful in such short time, that the developers decided to turn it into a full game. A short while later we’re playing a Battle Royale that turned the genre upside down. While you’re still out there, shooting other players in order to be the last survivor – in this game you do it while wearing household items. Put a pot on your head, a pan on your back and maybe an IV bag while you’re at it. Also there is no waiting around, because the game cuts the prolonged setup phase and drops you and up to 30 other players right into the world. From there on onwards the looting, the shooting and the crazy kitchen warfare ensues. All pans intended: So when everyone is wearing pans, colanders and cooking pots as helmets, what else is there? Well, for example the backpacks that you usually carry in other battle royale games are swapped out for shopping or tote bags – how fancy. By the time your character is fully geared, you look pretty much like a hobo in underwear that has strapped more than five pans and pots onto his or her body while carrying your Chanel bag full of ammunition. To top all this off map drops with high end loot are also a thing in CRSED:F.O.A.D but as you might imagine, they have also been altered in the corresponding way. Huge refrigerators are occasionally dropping from the sky, providing weaponry or buffs for the daring player who takes the risk of opening one of these highly sought after items. Wacky, but not whack: Despite all the wackiness that we saw when playing CRSED:F.O.A.D, deep down it is still a competitive Battle Royale game. You notice that for example when wearing all these “armor” items. Pots, colanders and whatnot are clunky, loud and will eventually give away your position to other players. Those who decide to carry all this additional protection will do that at a price. Aside from that the gunplay and the action itself is absolutely solid. This game might look like a joke but in terms of gameplay it sure doesn’t make any. Its fast, its competitive and its fun. Special Features of CRSED:F.O.A.DFree-to-play: Just sign up once and you are good to go. CRSED:F.O.A.D is absolutely free-to-play. Hell’s Kitchen: Get your pan ready and prepare yourself for a fast-paced Battle Royale unlike any other. All pans intended: Collected household items and equip your character with bulletproof cooking pots, tote bags and other crazy items that will help you to dominate the battleground. Wacky, but not whack: CRSED:F.O.A.D might look goofy but the overall gameplay is rock solid and lives up to the standards of the genre.PLAY ONLINE FREE The Bottom Line When a joke goes too far it’s usually not a good thing but in this case we’re glad this joke went absolutely overboard. Otherwise we wouldn’t have played this little gem and honestly, we would’ve missed it. CRSED:F.O.A.D, despite all its wackiness, love it or hate it, is a pretty solid shooter that surpasses quite a few similar titles – and most of those didn’t start as a joke, but ended as one. Starting out as a rookie character, wearing only standard issue armor and weaponry, you are at the beginning of an epic journey. By finishing several quests, such as killing monsters, collecting items, you will rise in rank and power. In consequence, you will become stronger and eventually be able to tackle even the toughest challenges that are waiting for you in Skyforge. Absolutely unique class system: We have seen our fair share of “Warrior, Rogue and Mage” titles and once you have played some of the games with limited class systems, it is usually rare to be surprised by the rest of the game. On the other hand, when you play games like Skyforge and read up on their class system, you definitely know that you are in for a treat. The class system in Skyforge tackled a major issue of most MMORPG’s. Imagine you played your class up to level 100 but at some point you just feel like playing a different class. Usually that would mean that you have to go back to the character creation menu, create a new class and start over from Level 1. The free to play Fantasy Action MMORPG Skyforge eliminated this problem by giving players the opportunity to simply change between 13 classes with a single click and they also found a way to smoothly implement it. Complex character development: While it is possible to change classes with a simple click, the character progression itself isn’t such a trivial matter. To develop your character, you earn specific currency after completing quests, defeating bosses and clearing dungeons. This currency in return can be used on the so called Ascension Atlas. This type of board reminded us of the Sphere Grid from the famous and well known Final Fantasy titles. Divided into different areas, this board becomes your ultimate character development tool and allows you to invest your skill points in different areas. But choose wisely because the Ascension Atlas for sure also determines your effectiveness with each of the classes. Stunning graphics: Also in terms of visuals, the Fantasy Action MMORPG title Skyforge looks simply amazing. The Cry-Engine is working wonders and indeed it’s a very rare thing for a free to play game to have such nice graphics. The models, the animations, the landscape, the enemies and mobs and the overall level of detail is definitely a huge plus for the game. Furthermore it’s this nostalgic mix between rural landscapes and sci-fi themed content, which really helps with the overall immersion and emphasizes the feeling of playing a high end or triple A game. Fluent gameplay and combat: Thankfully the games is not just good looking. The gameplay and especially the combat system are almost as slick as the graphics of this game. Choosing between dozens of abilities is a hard choice and using them properly can be even harder – in a good sense. Skyforge is not simple “click to cast” adventure, it really requires you to aim for your target, position yourself properly and select the appropriate combination of spells for your target at hand. This boils down to a very dynamic and fast-paced gameplay, where positioning and strategic decisions are a huge factor.
